Hayward Pro Series Top-Mount 21" Sand Filter and 1 1/2 HP Power-Flo Matrix Pump will provide clear, sparkling water meeting expectations for years to come. The Hayward Pro Series is a bigger filter and pump system that provides greater filtration for above-ground pools. The filter pump combo comes complete with the sand filter, multiport valve, pump, equipment base, and two hoses with plumbing connections.

Efficient ProSeries Sand Filtration

The Hayward Pro Series 21-inch Top Mount Sand filter features an integral top diffuser that evenly distributes unfiltered water over the sand media bed in a cascading, umbrella-like pattern cleansing the water from dirt and debris. The Pro Series sand filter utilizes a 6-position VariFlo multiport control valve featuring 6 positions such as filter, backwash, rinse, waste, closed, and recirculate an extra winterization mode as well if needed. To obtain this "7th" position, rotate the pointer in between any two positions to reach this "inactive" position which is required for winterization. Refer to the instructions for the rest of the steps to get your sand filter and pump ready for winter.

PowerFlo Matrix Above Ground Pool Pump

The Hayward Power-Flo Matrix 1.5 HP Single Speed Pump features an industrial-size strainer pump basket to collect as much debris as possible while limiting maintenance. The Power-Flo Matrix is also very heat-resistant and sports a double size seal and a protected rear-mounted switch for high energy efficiency. The Hayward PowerFlo 1.5 HP Pump has a high-quality Noryl impeller, offering wide openings preventing leaf and debris to clog inside the pump housing.

Common Questions:

• The Hayward Pro Series requires 200 lbs. of #20 Silica Sand to properly run which is sold separately and not included. Please Note: Follow the safety precautions and instructions on the pool sand bag label, as well as the filter owner's manual when adding and replacing sand.

• The Hayward Filter and Pump are plumbed in 1 1/2 inch connections.

• The ProSeries Sand Filter and PowerFlo Matrix Pump comes with a 6ft cord for connection to a standard 115V electrical receptacle.
